CMS Downs is a leading independent, family run carpet and bed retailer dealing in both contract and domestic environments.

Established in 1973 as CMS Carpets and Beds, we acquired Downs of Newbury in 1998 to form CMS Downs. There are currently three stores within the group in Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire.

Close, long term, relationships with top manufacturers and wholesalers, combined with a huge stockholding, allows CMS Downs to compete on pricing and delivery with the biggest players in the market.

Our reputation and success over the years has been built on a strong commitment to customer service - around 80% of our business is generated from recommendations and repeat purchases.
